When using color magick for your Esbats, Sabbats, or daily magick, the following is a chart to help you achieve your maximum potential.

WHITE: Spells involving purity, honesty, cleansing, releasing, absolving negativity, virginity, and spiritual sacredness.
YELLOW: Spells involving, healing, health, happiness, the mind, intelligence, and the ability to sell yourself in high regards.
BLUE: Spells involving protection, tranquility, safety, astral projection, haunting, calming energy, and peace of mind.
PINK: Spells involving love in every form, romance, beauty, the Goddess, healing of the emotions, friendship, and nurturing.
RED: Spells involving sex, passion, courage, anger, strength, stamina, danger, energy in general, fast action, and impulsiveness.
ORANGE: Spells involving attraction, compelling, real estate and land negotiations, attainment of business goals, and compulsiveness.
GREEN: Spells involving money, prosperity, wealth, fertility, pregnancy, employment, growth of all kinds, and mother earth.
PURPLE: Spells involving power, control, psychic ability, influence over other people, intuition, royalty, and manipulation.
GOLD: Spells involving success, quality, excellence, accomplishment, reverence, and the highest achievement attainable.
BROWN: Spells involving home, hearth, family, marriage, bonded energies, old friendships, and exorcism of dwellings.
GRAY: Spells involving repelling, release, binding, banishing, returning negative energy to its source, and confinement.
BLACK: Spells involving secrecy, negativity, evil, veils of mystery, the power of all combined colors, and intense energy.
LEGAL: Spells involving legal documents of all kinds, the swaying of power of legal authorities, and aid in all disputes.

The Energy

The full moon every month is the highest and most powerful time of the month to request (magickal castings) changes in our world and in your life. The Hare Moon, also known as the new moon – or dark of the moon, is the second most powerful time of the monthly cycle. Most castings regarding positive intentions and increase are cast on Full Moon and Hare Moon. The waning moon is the time most often used to dispel or remove things from energy.

The Wiccan Rede

When the wind comes from the South, love will kiss you on the mouth.
When the wind whispers from the West, all hearts will find peace and rest.

Rowan is a tree of power causing life and magick to flower.

Hazel-the tree of wisdom and learning adds its strength to the bright fire burning.
White are the flowers of Apple tree that brings us fruits of fertility. Grapes grow upon the vine giving us both joy and wine.
Fir does mark the evergreen to represent immortality seen.
Elder is the Lady’s tree burn it not or cursed you’ll be.
Four times the Major Sabbats mark in the light and in the dark.
As the old year starts to wane the new begins, it’s now Samhain.
When the time for Imbolc shows watch for flowers through the snows. When the wheel begins to turn soon the Beltane fires will burn.
As the wheel turns to Lamas night power is brought to magick rite. Four times the Minor Sabbats fall use the Sun to mark them all.
When the wheel has turned to Yule light the log the Horned One rules.
In the spring, when night equals day time for Ostara to come our way.
When the Sun has reached it’s height time for Oak and Holly to fight. Harvesting comes to one and all when the Autumn Equinox does fall.
Heed the flower, bush, and tree by the Lady blessed you’ll be.
Where the rippling waters go cast a stone, the truth you’ll know.
