The Full Moon in September focuses on magick involving changes in general, the bounty of
harvests, dancing, gardening, oracles, divining, rededication of Wiccan tools and grimoires,
stocking the magickal cupboard, youth, discovering hidden treasures, thankfulness, cleansing in
general, ambitions, gratitude to the Gods for blessings, career changes and shifts, removing
spells that no longer serve you, and the banishing of negativity, addiction, uselessness, unwanted
relationships, and unwanted/unwarranted things in life.
September Ritual
(Black)
Magickal Intention: This is a spell to break an energy that is no longer serving you. It can be a
spell that was cast that you need to break or simply a condition or relationship you wish to
banish. This ritual is to establish an ending of something you wish to be rid of from your life.
Time: The Full Moon in September, Saturn hour
Tools: One black candle, Banishing oil, Midnight incense, and Spell Breaker Bath Salts. This
spell requires a bonfire, white parchment, a black pen.
Instructions: Begin the ritual with Spell Breaker bath salts and a warm bath. Concentrate on
what you wish to release from your life. This may be something you have once wanted but no
longer serves you or something which you never wanted but simply need to release. Next, create
a list on white parchment using the black pen of any and all things you wish to discard from your
life. Anoint the candle with Banishing oil. Light the candle and the incense. Recite the
incantation and toss the list into the bonfire to release what you wish to be rid of from your life.
Incantation:
“Into flame, I cast away,
All that binds me, gone this day.
Fire consume, leave ash and air,
Nothing of it lingers there.
So Mote It Be.”

Oil Recipe: One full part of Frankincense, Eucalyptus, and Lemon, and then add ¼ Rosemary, ¼
Bay, ¼ Angelica, and ¼ Basil oils blended into a carrier oil.
2.) Instructions for Making Midnight Incense:
Highest Potential Time to Create Formula: Waxing Monday, Midnight hour
Incense Recipe: Equal parts of powdered Black Pepper, Cinnamon, Musk, and Pine, 1 part
Charcoal, 2 teaspoons Table salt, and 1 teaspoon of Saltpeter blended into a bamba wood base.
3.) Instructions for Making Spell Breaker Bath Salts: Equal parts Lavender, Rose,
Galangal, Thistle, and Vetivert oils blended into Epsom’s salts and Sea salt mixture. Mix well.
