This is a time for magick involving instincts, animals in the wild, the 1 st Chakra, opening
roads that have been blocked, banishing energy that’s been negative or stuck from the last year,
aiding the less fortunate, divining for future partnerships, banishing loneliness but yet celebrating
independence, family, home, removing stillness, laziness, and stagnation such as procrastination,
honoring Goddess, and focusing on plans for the future and happiness in general.
January Ritual
(White)
Magickal Intention: This ritual is to open doors of positive energy. Releasing all the unwanted
and stagnant energy of last year and bringing the goals of the new year into fruition.
Time: Full Moon in January, Jupiter hour
Tools: One white candle, Road Opener oil, Banishing incense, a key you are no longer using, and
Uncrossing bath salts.
Instructions: Dress the white candle with Road Opener oil. Light the candle and the incense.
Draw a warm bath and add the Uncrossing bath salts. As you bathe by the light of the white
candle, focus your thoughts and intentions on clearing out the path ahead for the things you want
to accomplish for the day, the month, and the year ahead of you. Release the energy of what has
kept you down and possibly even discouraged. Release. When you feel the energy of the
negative energy leaving you, recite the incantation. With the key you are no longer using, create
a crossroads by using a stick in the dirt, creating a cross. With a hand shovel, dig a hole in the
center and bury the key in the center of the crossroads you just created and recite the incantation
once again. This will completely unlock the doors so your future is unlocked and unblocked.
Incantation:
“I open the doors to banish and cease,
No longer captive, this key is release.

1.) Instructions for Making Road Opener Oil:
Highest Potential Time to Create Formula: Full Moon, Moon hour
Oil Recipe: Equal parts Sandalwood, Lemon Balm, Orange, Lemon, Five Finger Grass, High
John the Conqueror, Patchouli, Verbena, and Tonka Bean oils blended into an almond or olive oil
carrier oil. Add a used key to the formula.
2.) Instructions for Making Banishing Incense:
Highest Potential Time to Create Formula: Waning Saturday, Saturn hour.
Incense Recipe: Equal parts of powdered Frankincense, Eucalyptus, Lemon peel, Rosemary,
Bay, Angelica, and Basil, 1 part Charcoal, 2 teaspoons Table salt, and 1 teaspoon of Saltpeter
blended into a bamba wood base.
3.) Instructions for Making Uncrossing Bath Salts: Equal parts of Bay, Birch, Lemon,
Rose, Verbena, and Lily of the Valley oils blended into Epsom’s salts and Sea salt mixture. Mix
well.
