February 17 th marks the year of the Fire Horse in Chinese culture. It’s very rare as it only comes
every sixty years, so only once in our mortal lifetimes. This is a time of forward movement,
independence, and endurance.

This spell is for the New Moon in February
For this spell, you will need:
Recipes for Friendship Oil and Incense
Highest Potential Time to Create Formula: Waxing Friday, Venus hour.
Incantation: “Friendship solid and growing stronger, Bless my life better and longer. Keep the
love and mutual respect, And all the bonds that make us connect. So Mote It Be.”
Friendship Oil Recipe: Equal parts Sandalwood, Cinnamon, Benzoin, Sweetpea, Apricot, and
Rose oils blended into a carrier oil.
Friendship Incense Recipe: Equal parts powdered Sandalwood, Cinnamon, Benzoin, Sweetpea,
Apricot, and Rose petals, 1 part Charcoal, 2 teaspoons Table salt, and 1 teaspoon of Saltpeter
blended into a bamba wood base.

Making New Friends

Magickal Intention: To bring new friends into your life.
Time: Hare Moon, Venus hour
Tools: One pink candle, Friendship oil, Friendship incense, Rose Quartz, pinches of rosemary, a
salt, chamomile, and lavender, pink yarn, a red flannel mojo bag, pink parchment and pen.
Instructions: Dress the candle in Friendship oil. Light the candle and the incense. Write upon
the pink parchment the qualities of friendship you wish to attract into your life. (For example:
Someone who is loyal, honesty, kind, brave, etc.) Place the salt, rosemary, chamomile, lavender,
and rose quartz, and twig from the rowan or pine into the mojo bag. Burn the parchment and
place the cooled ashes into the mojo bag. Suffumigate the mojo through the incense in deosil
motion. Anoint it with the Friendship oil. Recite the incantation. Seal it closed. With the yarn, tie

around the mojo bag in a bow. Find a place in nature near a healthy tree and bury the mojo bag.
Recite the incantation once again. Do not look back once it’s buried.

Incantation:
“From this root beneath the frost,
Tree, to stone, to herbs in storm,
Let steadfast hearts not be lost,
Find friendships true and warm.
So Mote It Be.”
